Since it's Mother's Day, this week's tip is Me Time. This is something I learned about from this week's Mom Crush, Mia Redrick. She taught me that it is an essential part of self care. I am not talking about randomly escaping when you see a window of opportunity or being able to shower by yourself or even managing to get to your annual obgyn appointment. I am talking about regularly scheduled time that you use to do something that is purely for you... a trip to your favorite coffee shop to read a good book in silence, a weekly massage or even just an hour of window shopping at your favorite store. Arrange it with your significant other or team up with a fellow mom. An hour once a week or every other week will do wonders for you. I promise!
